Backflow testing and cross-connection control are essential, regulation-driven services with recurring testing requirements and durable customer relationships. The market is technical, locally fragmented, and often underserved by shared systems, career paths, or acquisition capital.

We see an opportunity to combine strong local service with better administrative support, technology, and a path for skilled technicians to build careers — while reliable water infrastructure and compliance become more important, not less. Our geographic emphasis is Florida and the Southeast, with room for exceptional opportunities elsewhere.

Jonathan St. Hilaire

Jonathan founded Blue Anchor Capital to acquire and build durable, owner-led businesses. His background combines software engineering, cloud infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and acquisition strategy.

He began his career in software engineering at Liberty Mutual Technologies, working with cloud infrastructure and business systems, and later developed experience in entrepreneurship, sales, and acquisition sourcing. Jonathan leads Blue Anchor's investment strategy, capital formation, transaction execution, and technology initiatives. He is based in the Tampa, Florida area and invests personal capital alongside the company's operating partners.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Florida and AWS certifications. Blue Anchor works with experienced external legal, lending, and accounting advisors on every transaction.
